Velox Rapid Edge, a unique self-weighted Planter Edge System designed to save time, reduce cost and mitigate risk.
• Complex fixing detail
• Substantial foundation required
• Lengthy installation process
• High risk of waterproof penetration
• Excessive combined costs
• Expected risk of exceeded loading
• No foundation required
• Rapid installation process
• No waterproof penetration
• Low install cost
• Less risk of exceeded loading
• Simple fixing detail
4x faster to install, cutting your onsite time by 75%. Achieved by:
- Removing concrete, drilling and fixing down.
- Boltless fixing detail.
Guaranteed to reduce costs, weight & carbon emissions.
- 4x faster install.
- Removes cost, weight and carbon emissions associated with concrete.
Mitigating the high risk of penetration to the waterproofing as this system requires no on-site drilling.
The locking comb is a crucial component of the Velox Rapid Edge securing the triangular supports and planter edging in place. This is the innovation that mitigates all bolts saving time and eliminating the risk of under tightening.

The base plate is the sole innovation that removes all the foundation requirements of a conventional system. The gravitational force of the soil above each base plate, offsets the horizontal force of the soil from within the planter. Nothing else is required other than the force of nature, no concrete and no fixings.

Reducing the time that site operatives are exposed to risks. Simplified process and install system mitigates human error.
This option shows suitable aggregate infill, laid to take up the variations in the structural slab providing a level plain. This method of dealing with falls also reduces the risk of fire spread by limiting the size of the void between paving and substrate. The type of aggregate is project specific.
This is where the Velox system takes up the variations in the structural slab whilst maintaining a top edge parallel to FFL. Whilst this option offers a simplified on site process, additional time is required during the design process.
Typical specification should include the chosen edging style along with VELOX Rapid Edge™ system, planter height, material & finish.
