Watermark is a contemporary collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments located within Maidenhead town centre. Perfectly situated in a lively town centre with excellent transport links into London.
Logic’s raised planter edging and self-weighting system “Velox Rapid Edge™” was key to creating this garden area at podium level. This meant no need of concrete foundations, which is normally used on regular edging systems, thus removing the risk of overloading. In addition, there was no risk of penetration to the waterproofing from drilling, and this system is significantly quicker to install.
Facetted rather than curved sections were selected, which kept the project aligned with the original design intent of curved cubby spots. This created a smooth transition between the planters and seating giving the residents a tranquil spot to relax.
The client Countryside wanted to create open courtyards with planters that create curved pockets for seating, using straight Stapel raised planter edge facetted modular sections to make create curved areas that incorporate Modal seating at various locations incorporated with the shape of the planters.
